Thank you for taking the time to look around my site – I hope you like what you see!

I trained at the London College of Fashion 10 years ago, where I gained a BA (Hons) degree in Make-up for the Performing Arts. I studied wigs, prosthetics, casualty make-up and art history and it was a truly thorough grounding in all aspects of the profession.

During my 3 years at college, I worked as a swing wig assistant (or wiggie as we are so fondly known) at Phantom of the Opera in London's West End. This gave me the contacts and the hands on experience to find full time theatre work, when I left college. I was very privileged to be offered a job as a Make-up Artist on The Lion King, where I was responsible for the little lions (one of which has grown up to be the beautiful Jade representing the UK in the Eurovision Song contest!), as well as the adult lions, Simba and Nala (Javine Hylton) and the monkey Rafiki.

After The Lion King, I worked at The Royal Opera House in the Wig Dept on productions such as La Traviata, Cinderella, Onegin and Othello. I also went back to Phantom for 7 weeks to cover for the Head of Make-up, whilst she went abroad to film. This was another great experience, as I was able to do the Phantoms make-up every night, as well as prepare his prosthetic pieces and bald caps. Just to make life things a little bit more of a challenge, there was also a cast change, so I was responsible for purchasing everyone's make-up and ensuring everyone was trained and looking fabulous!

I moved on from the wonderful world of theatre to TV and Commercials. I have worked on a wide variety of projects and with many celebrities, of which the most memorable were probably George Best and Tony Hadley (being a child of the eighties!). I have enjoyed every production I have worked on in the past 10 years and always ensure I give 100% effort and professionalism to every project I am involved in.
